The Horizontal Stabilizer

Start  - 3/15/99, Finish - 6/26/99

What I learned building the horizontal stab:
1) Do not try to prime parts without first roughing them with Scotchbrite.
2) Use the skin at every possible opportunity to align and place ribs on the spars.  this is much more accurate than measuring.

Rear Spar of the horizontal stab waiting in the corner for
arrival of the band saw to cut the HS-810 and HS-814

It worked well to hang the plumb bob just to the side of the skeleton and equalize the distance to the string at the top and bottom of each rib.
